Since the Jim Beam Pen Blank was cut from the stave of a genuine Jim Beam bourbon barrel, you could say that it's been in good spirits for the last four years. That's how long the bourbon is aged before the barrels are replaced. The barrels are coopered from charred American Oak. The black side of the pen blank is Jim Beam's distinctively deep "alligator char". Each bourbon barrel pen blank comes with its own certificate of authenticity.Technical Details:The Jim Beam Pen blank measures approximately 3/4" x 3/4" x 5"L.Made of American Oak from a genuine Jim Beam bourbon barrel.One side of the blank is blackened from the charring and distilling processes.Once turned, the blank will look like slightly aged oak.
